Lazersharp Focus

You know what you want, now I want you go after it with laser sharp focus. It’s not enough to WANT, you need to take ACTION.

After all, a dream without action will always will be a dream. Is that enough for you? Or are you ready to go out there like a silver bullet and show the world what you’re made of?

Yes, I know you are busy and are already struggling to fit everything into your day. You get overwhelmed and wonder how the hell you are going to get to where you want to be (and deserve to be) when you’ve got so many other things that you need to think about.

Well, take a deep breath and get ready to simplify your mad chaotic life to allow you to focus on the things that are important to you.

Complete the following challenges

Challenge 1

Keep a note of how you spend your time split into 15 minute segments and how you felt. Here is an example:

Monday

5am Wake up slowly sleepy
5.15am Shower Happy
5.30am Get dressed Happy
5.30am Hair & make up Stressed- racing against time

Keep going throughout the full day until you go to bed and for 3 days- choose regular days, not when you are doing something out of the ordinary or weekends/holidays when you’re likely to be doing less than usual.

Do this for 3 days, keeping your goals in mind (refer to the clarity section), then answer the following questions, being brutally honest with yourself.

1. How much of your time is spent working towards what is really important to you and what makes you happy?

  1.  What do you do out of habit or a sense of obligation?
  2. How much time do you spend doing things that don’t really matter when put into perspective, against what you COULD be achieving if you really set your mind to it? Eg. Scrolling through Facebook, watching TV, reading magazines etc (note- there’s nothing wrong with doing these things UNLESS you are telling yourself you have no time to do the things that are important).
  3. Where can you group things together and give them all of your focus rather than trying to do things in bits?
  4. How many times are you distracted by outside influences when you are working on what’s important to you?
  5. What do you need to let go of to allow in lazersharp focus?
